2017: In Review
January 1, 20182017 has flown by. Finding time to make personal work has been a real struggle- working full time, moving house, and accepting more commercial commissions than any previous year has eaten into the time I would normally dedicate to shooting independent projects.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however.
I’ve had to curb my atavistic need to shoot non-stop, think a bit more about how I’m going to approach something, and make sure I capitalise on what little time I have. The projects that didn’t get shot in 2017 are still waiting for this coming year.
I’ve got a fridge full of film- and my beloved M6, what could go wrong?
Happy New Year.
